In the Middle of Nowhere - Before and After

So I started with the meadow background and built layers on top of that. The first thing I did was play with the color balance on the background layer to find a color scheme that I liked so I can tweak the girl and the car.. to look like it was part of the photo. I cut the background out around the girl and the car photo... placed the car in the meadow photo first. I played with the levels of light and the color balance till I was satisfied. I then pasted the girl on top of the hood of the car... played with levels and color balance. I then noticed that I need to fix some areas that were brighter.. ( the trick is to find the light source then work from there) I noticed the light was coming from behind so we needed some shadows on the front of the car... so i took the burn tool and burned the shadows in. Got some crows pasted them in and then placed the texture on top set to soft light and wholla your done!! <3
